Nqpetro is pleased to announce the successful completion of a major retail fuel station located on a bustling highway in Mareeba. This Mareeba fuel station was delivered under the experienced leadership of our Projects Director, Alex, and the project encompassed a full turnkey solution—from design and installation to commissioning and compliance.

Project Highlights

Fuel Storage Installation: Our team managed the supply, excavation, installation, and backfilling of two 110,000-litre underground fuel storage tanks with multiple compartments.

Infrastructure: Comprehensive underground pipework, containment sumps, and forecourt equipment were installed, ensuring long-term reliability and compliance.

Fuel and Electrical Systems: Hazardous-area-rated electrical systems installed to stringent safety standards, supporting seamless operations.

Fuel Equipment Fit-Out: The site is fully equipped with seven Gilbarco SK700 dispensers, providing 66 hoses, along with a dedicated heavy vehicle lane dispensing system.

Spill Containment Systems: Forecourt spill separator installed, critical for maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

System Commissioning: Complete commissioning of the fuel and ATG systems, including third-party integrity testing and in-house NMI calibration, ensuring optimal functionality from day one.
