PROJECT OVERVIEW
Nqpetro is proud to announce the successful completion of the NightOwl Cairns project, a new greenfield site that marks another significant achievement for our team. Led by Project Director Alex Plowman, this endeavour involved overcoming several challenges to deliver a fully operational site that meets the highest industry standards.
KEY PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Deep Excavation Management: Given the natural high groundwater table at the site, we implemented an engineered sheet piling and dewatering system to ensure safe and effective deep excavations.
Fuel Storage Installation: Our team handled the supply, excavation, installation, and backfilling of underground fuel storage tanks, ensuring they are securely in place and operational.
Spill Containment Systems: We installed a comprehensive forecourt spill containment system, crucial for maintaining safety and environmental compliance.
Fuel and Electrical Systems: We ensured safety and compliance by supplying and installing the hazardous area electrical system, designed to meet stringent safety standards and support seamless operations on site.
Fuel Equipment Fit-Out: fully equipped with the latest fuel dispensers and related equipment, ready to serve its purpose efficiently.
System Commissioning: We completed the project by commissioning the entire fuel and ATG systems, ensuring everything is fully functional and ready for use.
