Project Overview
Led by Matt Logan, this project involved the delivery of a complete operational fuel system, installed in line with approved design specifications, relevant industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key project elements included:
- 2 x 110kL Underground fuel tanks
- 1 x 30kL Undeground Adblue tank
- Pipework
- Fill points
- Dispenser sumps
- Vent lines
- Hazardous area electrical works relating to fuels
- ATG installation
- Testing and commissioning

Project Highlights
The completed system was successfully installed and fully integrated with all associated infrastructure, including tanks, pipework, dispensing equipment, containment measures, and monitoring systems.
Following installation, the fuel system underwent commissioning, along with pressure and integrity testing, to verify performance, safety, and compliance.
Like many major projects, this installation came with a number of site challenges that required flexibility and coordination throughout delivery. Site shutdowns occurred whenever temperatures reached 35°C. Rain also caused delays on several days, limiting activity on site.
As a multi-tenant site, the project required close coordination alongside simultaneous earthworks, civil works, and building activity. Access was also restricted due to the site’s location on a major arterial road. This became particularly challenging during periods of backfilling and high truck movement.
