Project Overview
The Eagle Petroleum site had been inactive for nearly five years, requiring a detailed fuel station upgrade to assess, modernise, and safely return the facility to operation.
With the site located more than 600 kilometres away, Nqpetro managed mobilisation, planning, material coordination, and stakeholder communication remotely to ensure the project remained on schedule.
The client required a fully integrated unmanned site setup, including OPT payment technology and remote monitoring capabilities. This allowed the fuel system to operate efficiently while providing access to real-time sales and product information from anywhere in the world.

Fuel System Upgrade and Integration
Nqpetro coordinated the delivery, installation, and commissioning of key fuel system components to support the reinstatement of the Eagle Petroleum site.
Works included:
- Installation of new Gilbarco SK700 dispensers featuring Pay-at-the-Dispenser technology
- OPT payment system integration across each dispenser
- Installation and commissioning of a TLS450 Plus Automatic Tank Gauge system
- Full system integration to support an unmanned site setup
This combination of dispenser technology, payment integration, and remote monitoring capability helped deliver a modern, efficient, and practical fuel system solution for the client.

The project required close coordination between all stakeholders to ensure materials were manufactured, delivered, and installed within the required timeframe.
