At the centre of this project is the F.E.S Grande 30 Self-Bunded Diesel Tank, a high-capacity 30,000L diesel storage tank built to perform in demanding environments.
Designed and manufactured to strict standards, this self-bunded diesel tank provides safe, compliant fuel storage while minimising environmental risk.
Key elements included:
- Double-walled steel construction for added protection
- Built to AS1940, AS1692, UL142, and ULC-S601 standards
- Portable ISO container design for easy relocation across site
- Domed roof for effective water runoff and corrosion resistance
- Integrated safety systems including overfill protection and high-level alarms

Integrated Dispensing System
Paired with the tank is a fully integrated diesel dispensing system, designed and installed by Nqpetro to deliver efficient and consistent refuelling for plant and equipment.
Key elements included:
- Piusi 240V Diesel Transfer Pump
- Macnaught Pulse Meter integrated with SmartFill
- Baldwin Spin-On Filter Assembly for clean fuel delivery
- Elaflex ZVA25 Nozzle with secure holster
- Raasm 1” x 15m Hose Reel for safe and tidy operation
The entire system was designed and constructed in line with AS1940 standards, ensuring full compliance and safe operation. As part of the delivery, Nqpetro completed pressure testing, flange management, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), pre-delivery inspections, electrical installation to AS/NZS 3000, and full commissioning.
